Will we forsake unruly wilderness,
for carefully landscaped lawns?
Or bury our beautiful bodies,
under workouts, drugs, and synthetic parts?
How long will our rivers be dammed?
How long our people, too?
By the limitation of societies guiding hand.
You know we live by rules
that aren't written down.
The most stringent masked
by the technicality of freedom.
And we play our part so carefully
or endure the sentence of society--
disdain.
And so we jail the outcast
that doesn't play our game.
